Paulina Woods
The ability to tell a story that captivates audiences can be learned, but Paulina was born with a story in her soul. From a young age she would tell herself bedtime stories, falling asleep to monsters battling, spaceships visiting, and new universes making themselves known. She was three when she created a world for her and her siblings, even those not yet born, to play in. From a government to the basic money system, Paulina explored ways to make her universe a reality. As she grew and expanded her experiences, she still held onto the habit of telling herself bedtime stories. In 2000, she graduated from high school and abandoned her dream of being a storyteller for something more mainstream, on the suggestion of her high school counselor. It took her fourteen years to return to her love of storytelling and released her first book in February 2014.
Paulina now enjoys her time living in Yuma, Az with her service dog Sasha, and beautiful kitty, Hershey. When not writing, she enjoys true crime, prime time tv drama, RPG video games, and of course reading. Outside the home, she enjoys local markets and organizing large social events. She is also an active member in the local PRIDE community and believes that everyone should be allowed to live life as they wish if it doesn’t harm others.
